And … a young Fritz Mellberg was ordained into Christian ministry.

Recently, Rev. Fritz Mellberg was recognized by the Iowa Conference, at its annual meeting in October, for his 45 years of ordained ministry. On Sunday, November 19, while gathered with other local UCC clergy and their spouses, he was presented a certificate honoring this milestone. Rev. Mellberg served as pastor of Hope United Church of Christ from July 1993 – February 2011.
