Story Time and More with Pastor Mary Beth Featured Stories of Holy Week and Easter

On Thursday, April 9, there were seven children and youth who joined together via GoToMeeting to check-in with each other, share what they most enjoy about Easter in their families, hear the story of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection that is a part of our Holy Week in the church, and to play Easter Bingo.

 Easter Bingo had each participant drawing images on their bingo card, wherever they wanted, and then the group enjoyed three games of bingo. Winners included Sam Bloomquist and William Urbanowski. Everyone won as the final game was a “blackout” game!

Participants were encouraged to draw, paint, or build something that depicted the stories of Holy Week. Pictures from this story time feature Lego building projects, drawings and painted rocks.

I am hosting a story time for our children and youth tomorrow, April 16, at 11:30 a.m. I will be reading the story that we will focus on this coming Sunday, which is about Jesus’s followers and disciples after the resurrection.
