Sunday School and Confirmation Classes Offer Children and Youth Chances to Learn

Our Sunday School program featured lessons on Jesus as a boy, Martin Luther King Jr, and John the Baptist. During their lesson on John the Baptist, students got to try a tasty dried grasshopper with honey, since it is reported that John ate locust and wild honey as part of his diet. Their upcoming lessons will include the calling of the disciples and Jesus as teacher.

The students in our Confirmation Class of 2020 recently discussed the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion. They will get a chance to “Stump the Pastors” with questions as several area clergy gather to answer the questions posed by students.
