Hope Happenings

Kendal Meier, daughter of Joan Tobin and Marvin Meier, recently helped the Illinois State University Redbirds win the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Tournament; the Redbirds defeated Loyola in four sets. Meier, a senior libero (defensive specialist player) ranks fifth in the MVC in digs per set (5.08) and seventh all-time at ISU in the career category. Meier has 1,247 career digs, including a team-leading 330 digs this season, and has turned in double-digit figures in all but one match in 2021. Congratulations, Kendal!
