Cathy Boeset, a member of Hope United Church of Christ, attended the protest with nearly 100 other individuals as Vice President Mike Pence was visiting Cedar Rapids on July 11. Cathy offered these words on her poster, “Freedom of religion is NOT Freedom to discriminate.”
