Advent Devotional Available for Purchase

Before we know it, the Advent season will be upon us, a time set aside for preparing and waiting as Christmas approaches.

 A resource that can help us in our daily faith journey comes from the United Church of Christ and is titled, Draw Near, and promises us reflections for our Advent journey that will challenge as well as enlighten.

Panentheism believes that God lives in all things. If that is true, how can God be anywhere but here? Advent literally means “come toward.” Journey with the Stillspeaking Writers’ Group through Advent and realize God’s nearness. From the writers of the popular online Daily Devotional, Draw Near includes a biblical text, reflection, and prayer for each day of Advent through Epiphany. (The Stillspeaking Writers’ Group is composed of United Church of Christ ministers and writers who collaborate on resources for people in the church, outside the church, and not sure about the church.)
