Hope United Church of Christ Receives Goodwill of the Heartland

Employer Appreciation Award

On Tuesday, October 23, members of the Goodwill of the Heartland Team recognized Hope United Church of Christ with their Employer Appreciation Award. The award was presented by Susan Meyer, Assistant Program Director, Employment, for the organization.

Our custodial staff person, Tony Geinzer, comes to us through the work program at Goodwill of the Heartland. Tony will celebrate his first anniversary with us on Wednesday, November 7.  Tony shared this with Susan, “I feel my remarks for Employer of the Month is that Hope United is a great place to work at with great people, too, which helps my self-esteem. And, great work is a gateway to great things.”
