Sunday School and Worship to Change Beginning September 8

In order to meet the needs of our congregation, the Council unanimously approved a recommendation by the Christian Education Visioning Team to change the time for our Sunday School Program and worship. Beginning, Sunday, September 8, our worship time will move to 10:00 a.m.

Our Sunday School Program, designed for children and youth ages three years old – sixth grade, will meet as part of the worship experience. Children and youth will be with us in worship initially, sharing in the songs and prayer at the beginning of the service. The Discovery Time will be moved to earlier in the service (than it appears now) and then the children and youth will be invited to join their Sunday School teachers in the classrooms.

It is the desire of the Christian Education Visioning Team and the Council that this change will help young families navigate busy schedules and encourage participation in our Sunday School Program.

Fellowship will follow worship.
