Sunday, March 8, ~ Special Worship Service

Sunday, March 8, will be a very special day at Hope United Church of Christ as we celebrate the baptisms of two families. Participating in the Sacrament of Baptism will be: Brady Lane, Doug Lane, and Natalie Lane, along with Jayce Walker and Kate Walker.

 The Confirmation Class of 2020 will be leading us in worship that day. The service has been designed by the students with their full involvement in writing the prayers and parts of the liturgy. Our Confirmation students are: Sam Bloomquist, Aaron Butikofer, Brady Lane, William Urbanowski, and Josiah Wickum.

Students will be joined by the members of our Hope UCC Choir, who is providing special music this morning. The choir is under the direction of Andrew Buck and is accompanied by Deb Strunk.

Our Childen and Youth Choir will be offering a gift of special music this morning as they sing, “May the Road Rise to Meet You,” as our closing chorus. This musical group is under the direction of Ellen Bloomquist and is accompanied by Deb Strunk.
