STRENGTHEN THE CHURCH OFFERING – Sunday, May 31
The United Church of Christ collects the Strengthen The Church offering on Pentecost Sunday each year. On this year’s calendar that’s May 31th. Pentecost is referred to as the birthday of the church and thus it is an appropriate time to accept an offering to Strengthen the Church. As we remind you every year, if funds from offerings like this had not been available, there would be no Hope United Church of Christ in Hiawatha, Iowa. Let us help others as they helped us.
