Santa for a Senior Is a Success Once Again

Thank you for your generosity in supporting our annual Santa for a Senior mission that is helps individuals through Home Instead Senior Care Center in Cedar Rapids.

The center helps hundreds of people who are 65 and older in Linn County who are spending the holidays alone through its Santa for a Senior program in hopes that it can bring people a little holiday cheer this season. Organizers hope to have presents for about 700 people this year. They get a list of seniors from nursing homes, aging services and Veteran’s Affairs who are spending the holidays alone. This year our gifts helped 20 individuals.
