Mission Projects You Can Do That Can Make a Difference This Week

Mission and ministry opportunities are happening right now even if we are not meeting in our building. Here’s how we can still be proactive in making a difference in our community:

• Pray for teachers and students as they have been separated for several weeks.
• Send a thank you note to the grocery store you shop at, one of our local hospitals, your community’s fire department or police department for their work, especially during this time.
• Set aside a container and put your change in it so that when we return to worship in our space, you can give it to go toward future mission projects.
• Clean out your stuffed animal or toy collection and find three items to donate when we are able to do so again safely.
• Take a walk in your neighborhood and pick up trash (safely, please), taking care of God’s creation.

We are the church, gathered and scattered. Make a difference in someone’s life and in this community today!
