Palm Sunday is April 5. Although we will not be worshiping together in our sanctuary space, that does not mean we cannot have a parade. There will be a limited number of palm branches available at the church on Friday, April 3, from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. if you would like to “drive thru” and pick on up from Pastor Mary Beth. You can use it on Sunday morning, April 5, as we worship together via Facebook Live!

For those who wish to be creative, young and old and somewhere in-between, make your own palm branch or parade accessory and take a picture of it. Send it to Pastor Mary Beth by Wednesday, April 1, and she will try to feature it in our worship service on April 5.

Maundy Thursday, April 9, had plans involving more than 15 individuals from the age of five through 65+, as we were scheduled to have a Living Last Supper, featuring special music and communion. Since we will not be able to see this in person, Pastor Mary Beth is working to bring the production to the congregation in a different way. Stay tuned for more details as this is a work in progress.

Easter Sunday worship is planned for Sunday, April 12, 10:00 a.m. in our sanctuary space. What a wonderful way to come together once again as we celebrate and remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God – not death or COVID 19. Plan to be here at Hope UCC that morning to join in song and prayer and praise.
