OPERATION: BACKPACK UPDATE FROM THE MISSIONS COMMITTEE
Operation Backpack is the HACAP program that sends single-serve food for kids to take home in their backpacks over the weekend. They focus on non-perishable child-friendly food that kids can prepare on their own. Just a few ideas:

– Applesauce or fruit cups
– Individual boxes of cereal
– Mac and cheese bowls

The program will continue throughout the summer as well, so feel free to bring in any single-serve food that you’d like to contribute. Look for the basket labeled “Operation: Backpack”. Thank you.
