May there be reasons to celebrate the closing of this past year.  May there have been places that offered opportunities for growth.  May there have been times for being with family and friends.  May there have been joys to share.

If this past year had moments of grief, may comfort come in the new year.  If this past year had times of challenge, may hope come in the new year.  If this past year had times of difficulty, may peace come in the new year.

Come celebrate the new year with us at Hope United Church of Christ on January 1, at 10:30 a.m.  We will gather to sing songs, offer prayers, and to share in communion – where simple elements of bread and juice remind us that whenever we gather God is present.  Everyone, no matter who you are, is welcomed to be a part of our faith community.  We are waiting to meet you.
