We had a wonderful start to our Vacation Bible School program last evening (July 19): lively music, painting bird houses, indoor games with balloons (because of wet weather outside), a faith story about Jesus calls his followers to “fish for people” and a snack that featured a pretzel “fishing pole.”

Thank you to all the volunteers for their gifts of time and passion for our children and youth that make this program possible.

There is still a lot more fun, discovery and learning that will be happening so join us tonight.  Ages 3 – fifth grade are welcome.

Hope United Church of Christ is located at 150 9th Avenue, Hiawatha, IA. Here is the schedule for the remaining days:

Friday 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Sunday 8:45 a.m. (practice, worship – including the children participating) and fellowship
