Epiphany (ee-piff-any), or Three Kings’ Day, is a Christian feast that celebrates the revelation of God in Jesus of Nazareth. In Western Christianity, the feast commemorates principally (but not solely) the visit of the Magi to the Christ child, and thus Jesus’ physical manifestation to the Gentiles. The traditional date for the feast is January 6.
Here at Hope United Church of Christ, we will be celebrating the Feast of Epiphany on Sunday, January 9, with special music by individuals, small groups and our Hope UCC choir. Come and join us as we honor this day with gifts of music, song, and worship.
