Lunch Bunch ~ Outings for August and September Are Set

We are going to one of Hiawatha’s newest restaurants, Lucky Penny, located at 1705 Boyson Road.  This restaurant features delicious soups, sandwiches salads and pizza.  We will meet at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, for this time of fellowship. At this gathering, everyone who comes is invited to bring one jar of peanut butter and one jar of jelly as an offering to the food pantry as children begin back to school and the need is great for such items.

In September, we are heading to a local favorite, The Irish Democrat Pub and Grille, located at 3207 1^st Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids.  We will gather there at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, September 21.
