Outline for the Joint Annual Meeting
Friday, June 14 — Registration takes place from 3-5 p.m. followed by a Welcoming Cocktail Reception at 5 p.m. and dinner and keynote with Rev. Chris Davies, United Church of Christ Coordinator for Congregational Assessment, Support and Advancement (CASA) from 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, June 15 — Our gathering opens with worship featuring Davies preaching. Following worship our entire gathering will engage in an “open space” meeting for the morning — a facilitated opportunity to lift up what YOU want to discuss and find the people in the room with interests, gifts, and resources to offer on that topic. After a joint Honorees Luncheon, each conference will go to a separate meeting space for their annual business meeting. The evening will conclude with a banquet with special entertainment!
Sunday, June 16 — We will conclude our gathering with a joint worship service with Countryside Community Church that features Rev. Brigit Stevens, Executive Conference Minister of the Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota Conferences UCC, preaching and the service of installation for our new Associate Conference Ministers
