Congregational Meeting Called to Vote on Financing for Renovation Project on Sunday, July 21

On Sunday, May 5, a congregational meeting was held updating members and friends about our renovation project.  At their June meeting, the Council voted to enter into a contract with Kleiman Construction, as our general contractor, for the renovation project.

On Sunday, July 21, we will have a congregational meeting to update everyone on the progress of the project and to vote on the financing option to complete the renovation.  As per our bi-laws regarding financial matters, the congregation must approve any extraordinary expense currently not in the budget if borrowing exceeds 5% of the current budget (Article VII, item 12). A quorum is needed for this meeting, which is currently 46 individuals.

Thank you to those who have given generously to this project, as we have more than $198,000, already in the bank for this project and thank you to those who continue to give their support through their pledged financial gifts. If you have not yet given or pledged your support to this renovation project, you can still do so.
