Camp Sunday: Pilgrim Heights Comes to Hope UCC

On Sunday, May 6, Hope UCC will host our annual Camp Sunday as part of our Sunday School program.  This year, Courtney Maloney, a camp counselor from Pilgrim Heights Camp and Retreat Center will be joining us for the morning.  She will meet with our Sunday School students throughout the morning and then offer greetings to the whole congregation during worship.

Hope UCC places an importance on camp participation and encourages children, grandparents, parents and adults to explore the goodness of the camp/retreat experience at Pilgrim Heights, located near Tama, Iowa.  Through the generous support of the congregation and Women’s Fellowship, camp scholarships are available to help defray the cost of camp for those choosing to participate in this exciting and fun opportunity.  Contact Pastor Mary Beth (393-2400 or mbhartenstein@gmail.com) for more information and be sure to visit the Pilgrim Heights website at: www.PilgrimHeights.org
